November Champagne Shopping Night

We had a fantastic turnout for our November Champagne Shopping Night considering we had experienced thunderstorms all afternoon.  Those brave enough to come out and get stuck into a bit of Christmas shopping were rewarded with 10discount, ice cold champagne and delicious nibblies bought to us by EAT & CO a Sydney based catering company, and we are proud to be stockists of their Chilli Jam, Beetroot & Cranberry relish and Moscato Jelly, instore now.

VILLA BOTANIQUE @ GROSGRAIN

Some of you will be familiar with the striking potted succulents that we have been stocking this year from Villa Botanique.   Last Friday we were excited to welcome VILLA BOTANIQUE to our little courtyard with a stunning display of potted gorgeousness.  The weather was a searing 40 degrees which was unfortunate, but a fun day was had by all (except maybe the Hydrangeas who really don't love the heat).  If you see anything here that you would like to purchase or get more information on, please contact Kim at sales@villabotanique.com

 

      

 

  


Vintage Pieces

We all love a piece in our home that has a story attached to it, and that's why we work hard to source interesting vintage pieces from lots of different suppliers.  In the last week we have unpacked some absolutely beautiful pieces, from old olive picking baskets which can be repurposed into pot plant holders or stylish storage bins to cigar presses made into lamp bases.   We always try and keep stock of the fabulous little wooden shoe lasts, our favourites of course are the baby ones, which are becoming harder to find and vintage French cheeseboards of every...


Tasty Express Book Launch

On Saturday we hosted a book launch for Tasty Express, a fantastic new cookbook from Sneh Roy an award winning blogger and longtime Grosgrain customer. You may already be following her blog, Cook Republic. Sneh gave us an insight to how she came to writing the book and how she used her fantastic photography throughout. We had a lovely afternoon chatting with Sneh and her supporters and sampling some delicious recipes from the book. I am really thrilled to be able to support Sneh with Tasty Express and look forward to cooking my way through the book!
