The Cockerel and The Honeybee Slow Stitching Workshop
Friday 30 October 2020 1pm-5pm
Cost $170 deposit due on booking $50
We welcome Lisa Mattock back to Grosgrain Workshops in 2020..... Inspired by Lisa's travels through France. In this slow stitching workshop we'll draw on motifs such as the Napoleaonci bee and Le Coq Galois to stitch a panel that can be made into a cushion or a wallhanging.
Lisa will bring along special kits for this workshop, but we recommend you also bring some of your own textile 'treasures' and embellishments.
Slow stitching is not a complicated process relying on fancy, perfectly executed stitches and fastidious neatness. It is an embrace of the timeworn nature of our materials and the individuality of our stitching methods. Simplicity and care are the keys.
This class is suitable for all levels of experience.
You will enjoy a delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Workshop held in Wahroonga at The Possibility Project, 3/29-31 Redleaf Avenue, Wahroonga. (The old Grosgrain Shop)
Payment: We ask you to pay $50 deposit to secure your place and the balance ($120) due on the day. No refund for cancellations less than 36 hours prior to the workshop start. If the workshop needs to be cancelled due to Covid 19, we will reschedule to a later date or refund deposits in full.
