Slow Stitching Workshop
We are delighted to welcome Lisa Mattock to Grosgrain to teach us the art of "slow stitching". Under Lisa's guidance, you will create a whimsical, layered, textile artwork which can then be framed or added to a cushion cover. You will draw inspiration from the Japanese stitching methods of boro and sashiko, as you take a mixture of repurposed, recycled, inherited and vintage textiles to create the background for your work. A simple stitched silhouette can then be added as a finishing embellishment. See Lisa's instagram @foragebylisamattock
The workshop will be held instore at Grosgrain, the price includes afternoon tea and all materials that you require for your slow stitching as well as a take home pack.
